The National Agency for Statistics and Demographic and Economic Analysis (ANSADE), together with the Higher Institute of Statistical Professions (ISMS) of the Polytechnic Group, marked African Statistics Day on 18 November under the theme "How to better support agricultural policies to strengthen their resilience in Africa".
The event included an exhibition of the Agency's publications, alongside a space devoted to the Institute presenting the school, the training it provides and the objectives set for it.
It was attended by the Minister of Finance, Mr Isselmou Ould Mohamed M'Badi, the Minister of Agriculture, Mr Yahya Ould Ahmed El Waghf, the Minister of Livestock Development, Mr Mohamed Ould Abdallahi Ould Ethmane, and the World Bank's resident representative in Mauritania.
