On Monday 22 June 2026, the Higher Institute of Statistics, part of the Polytechnic Group, opened the final-project defences of its fifth cohort — a turning point for academic teaching and specialised training in the country.
This cohort carries particular strategic weight: it brings together the Institute's first graduates in two specialisations created to meet growing demand in statistical research and data analysis:
- Data Science and Business Intelligence
- Statistics, Economics and Applications
The milestone reflects the development strategy pursued by the Institute's management, which aims to modernise its programmes and align them with the most recent international standards, so that the public and private sectors can draw on national expertise in planning, data analysis and decision support.
